It has been a busy week for me, so I have fallen a little behind on the MVP Race. There are some exciting thing coming in the MVP race, a weekly update. We will get our first glance at who is leading the race. Exciting times! On to the nights games…


Boston MVP –  Kyrie Irving

Orlando MVP – Nikola Vucevic

The Magic had four started finish with double figures. Vucevic and Isaac each had 12 boards, while Agustin and Fournier dropped 10 dimes a piece.

Even though the Knicks lost they finally got some help outside of Kanter and Hardaway. Vonlah, Dodson, and Burke all reached double digits, giving New York their first game of the year with more than three.

Giannis dominated but Eric Bledsoe was integral in the win. Bledsoe had the highest +/- at +19 along with his 16 points and 13 boards.


Indiana MVP – Victor Oladipo

Bogdanovic went 4 of 5 from deep, he made half of Indiana’s threes.

Minnesota MVP – Karl Anthony-Towns

Player of the Night – Lebron James

Lebron led a young Laker team to a 142 point over time loss. The Los Angelos Lakers are 0-3 and Lebron is getting a taste for the West. Lebron James is still the best player in the NBA, expect the Lakers to come back with a vengeance. Demar Derozan was 1 blk away from having an identical stat line to LA’s newest star.

Dropping 50 points in a game gets you player of the week 99 times out of 100. Blake played out of his mind and he deserves MVP honors.
